Samantha Golden has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2012, they started their career as a University Ambassador at Florida State University, where they represented the university as a campus tour guide. Samantha also took on the responsibility of training and scheduling new University Ambassadors.
After that, Samantha worked as an Event Planning Intern at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2014. In this role, they supported the organization and planning of various events, including the Heart Walk and the Heart Ball. Samantha managed event volunteers and was responsible for organizing and documenting auction items.
In 2015, Samantha joined the Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters as an Education Leadership Consultant. As an international representative, they traveled full-time and supervised collegian chapters in North America. Samantha worked closely with university officials, alumnae advisors, and undergraduate students, providing strategic consultation and support.
From 2016 to 2020, Samantha worked at Visit Tampa Bay as a Destination Experiences Manager. Samantha acted as a liaison between meeting planners and the city of Tampa/Hillsborough County. Samantha supported meeting planners, developed promotional materials, and ensured that servicing requirements were met for conventions, conferences, and meetings in the Tampa Bay area.
In 2021, Samantha joined the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee as the Community Ambassador Program Manager. Samantha co-directed the program, which involved approximately 8,000 volunteers. Samantha played a key role in planning and implementing COVID-19 procedures and policies for the Super Bowl and acted as the main point of contact for volunteers, the NFL, and other stakeholders.
Currently, Samantha is working at DCE Productions. Samantha started in 2020 as a Virtual Event Specialist and later became an Enterprise Account Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Enterprise Accounts & Planning Services.
Samantha Golden attended Florida State University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Family and Child Science. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on psychology and communication.
