Witney James

Witney James serves as the Director at DCG Communications since October 2016, leading strategic outreach and communications campaigns, overseeing federal government office web property redesign, and developing internal communication content related to telehealth resources for veterans. Major accomplishments include securing corporate partnerships with DoorDash, Instacart, and DogTag Inc. Prior to this role, Witney held the position of Senior Account Supervisor, managing multi-year initiatives for homeless veterans using extensive strategic communications experience. Additional experience includes Senior Account Manager at Live Wire Media Relations, LLC and various roles at FleishmanHillard, where contributions encompassed media relations and crisis communications for public awareness campaigns. Witney began a career in communications while obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Virginia Tech.
