Rosanne Thurman

Rosanne Thurman has a strong background in pharmacy management and operations. Rosanne started their career as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Owen Healthcare, Inc in 1986. Rosanne later moved on to become the Director of Pharmacy at HCA from 1994 to 1999. At Shannon Medical Center, they served as the Director of Pharmacy Services and implemented various cost-saving and patient care improvement programs. Rosanne also worked as an Account Manager - Pharmacy at VHA/ Novation from 2008 to 2010. Rosanne then joined Cook Children's Health Care System as the Director of Pharmacy, where they oversaw all pharmacy locations and implemented software and lean processes to enhance safety and efficiency. Rosanne is currently the Corporate Director of Pharmacy at DCH Health System.

Rosanne Thurman obtained a PharmD degree in Pharmacy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1985. Rosanne then pursued further education and completed a certification in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University in 2011. In 2012, Rosanne attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and earned a degree in Organizational Leadership from the Pharmacy Leadership Institute. Rosanne also attended the Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business in the same year and obtained an EMBA in Strategic Leadership in 2013. Additionally, Rosanne has acquired several certifications, including being a Certified Pharmacy Benefits Specialist from TransparentRx in 2021 and being a Licensed Pharmacist in both Alabama (obtained in 2018) and Texas (obtained in 1987).
