Emily Covington

Emily Covington is Vice President at DCI Group where she provides clients with strategic communication counsel on a wide range of campaigns, overseeing media tactics, strategic relationships, and public affairs implementation. She focuses on media relations and marketing communications.

Before joining DCI Group in 2009, Emily worked for a business-to-business marketing firm serving clients in the upstream oil and gas, electrical components, and logistics industries. Prior to that, she worked in Manhattan, New York for BHI public relations working on consumer and brand campaigns for entertainment and education clients.

Emily began her career working at Ketchum in Los Angeles, California focusing in entertainment marketing and public relations. She also worked on a Presidential campaign in both Missouri and North Carolina.

Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in journalism and mass communications. She lives in Falls Church, Virginia with her husband and son, and their dog, Walter.
