John Gentzel

John Gentzel is Vice President at DCI Group where he provides communications advice and strategic counsel to numerous clients.

Prior to joining DCI Group in 2013, John worked in the media and the public sectors, including extensive experience developing communications and political strategy for several highly contested Congressional campaigns in two states.

John spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill working as a senior communications aide to members of both the House and the Senate. He served as Director of Communications for former U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-ME), Communications Director for Congressman Jim Gerlach (PA-06), and Director of Communications for Congressman Sean Duffy (WI-07).

John also served as Chief of Staff to Pennsylvania State Senator John C. Rafferty, Jr., chairman of the Transportation Committee. He began his career as a reporter at a daily newspaper in his home state of Pennsylvania.
