Chief Inspector at DCP Midstream

Michael Shockley has extensive work experience in the field of inspection and project management in the oil and gas industry. Michael has held various roles, starting with DCP Midstream as the Chief Inspector since 2014. Prior to that, they worked as the Construction Manager at Crestwood Midstream in 2013. From 2012 to 2013, they were the SR Welding Inspector at Gulf Interstate Engineering, where they inspected the rehabilitation of existing pipe in a metering station. In 2011, Michael worked as the Chief Inspector, NACE 1 Inspector, and Welding Inspector at TIR, where they directed multiple projects and performed coating and utility inspections. Michael also served as a NACE 1 Inspector at EMS, inspecting coating applications on 36 inch pipe. Additionally, they held the role of PIC Inspector at MBF, inspecting anomaly excavation and repair of weld sleeves. Other notable experiences include serving as a CFR at Conoco Phillips, where they inspected the installation of a metering manifold system and worked with various contractors to ensure compliance. Michael Shockley attended Oklahoma State University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained an Associate degree in Diesel Technology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained additional certifications in welding inspection and coating inspection from the National Welding Inspection School and NACE in May 2011.
