Michelle Nixon

Michelle Nixon has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Michelle is currently working as the Vice President of Business Development at DCS Corp, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Strategic Business Development at the same company from 2018 to 2023.

Before joining DCS Corp, Michelle worked as the Director of Business Development at IPT Associates from 2017 to 2018. Michelle also served as a Proposal Manager at General Dynamics Mission Systems from 2016 to 2017.

From 2012 to 2016, Michelle held the position of Manager, Proposal Development Center at Odyssey Systems. Michelle'sresponsibilities included managing the corporate proposal center, assisting with corporate growth strategies, and leading proposal development efforts.

Michelle's earlier work includes roles at Infoscitex Corporation as Market Lead, Defense Services and Solutions (Business Development) from 2006 to 2011, and as a Contract Administrator from 2006 to 2011. Michelle also worked at BioDefense Corporation as a Government Affairs employee from 2005 to 2006.

Michelle'sfirst major role was as the Staff Director at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2005. In this role, they developed relationships with government officials, managed the legislative bill process, and worked on budget priorities.

Michelle Nixon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy, and Security from Boston University between 1998 and 2002. Michelle then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy at New England College, completing it from 2007 to 2009.
