David Hilmer Rex

David Hilmer Rex is a postdoctoral researcher at both DDC – Danish Design Center and Aalborg Universitet, focusing on "Ecosystem for Imagination, Learning and Mission-oriented Innovation." This role involves exploring systems change and innovation in Denmark in collaboration with various organizations. As a co-founder of Diakron and Primer, David Rex fosters transdisciplinary research linking science, humanities, and visual arts. Additionally, David Rex serves as a board member for Art Hub Copenhagen and has previously held board membership at UKK – Organisation for Kunstnere, Kuratorer og Kunstformidlere. David Rex holds a Master of Fine Arts from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and has completed a PhD investigating the role of artistic practice in systems change.
