Mirjam Schuurman

Mirjam Schuurman serves as the Head of Risk & Compliance at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek since January 2021, bringing extensive experience in risk management and legal counsel from previous roles, including Group Risk & Compliance Director EMEA at Intertrust Group from April 2016 to October 2020 and Senior Legal Counsel at both IQ-EQ and BNP Paribas Asset Management. Mirjam's career began at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where significant positions included Head of Corporate & Funds Secretariat VP and Legal Counsel International Trust Affairs. Education includes a Master of Laws (LLM) from Leiden University and ongoing postgraduate studies in Compliance & Integrity Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, alongside diverse international educational experiences.
