Michiel de Hoog

Michiel de Hoog has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as a Correspondent at De Correspondent since December 2014, with a specialization in football and data. Prior roles include Editor at NCRV from January 2013 to November 2014 and Editor for Buitenhof at VPRO from August 2011 to July 2012. Michiel also worked as a Reporter in freelance capacities from April 2010 to August 2011 and as a Reporter/Editor at de Volkskrant from April 2005 to March 2010, alongside reporting work in freelancing from 2002 to 2004. Education includes a degree in English with a specialization in the history of international relations from the University of Utrecht, completed between 1997 and 2003, and earlier studies at Christiaan Huygens College.
