Wim Bijnens

Wim Bijnens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CEO of SHIELD vzw since February 2024 and as a member of the Supervisory Board at ICT Group since September 2023, Bijnens also co-founded intigriti, where Wim has held the position of Chairperson Of The Board since August 2016. Additional roles include serving on the Board of Directors for BlueHealth Innovation Fund, VaultSpeed, and Caprealeo, as well as being a Board Advisor at Aloxy. Bijnens contributes to the healthcare sector as a member of the Board in the Andreaz hospital network, supporting 530,000 residents in Limburg. In academia, Bijnens is a Visiting Professor and Research Director at Hogeschool PXL, having a robust educational background with a Ph.D. from Hasselt University and degrees from KU Leuven and Limburgs Universitair Centrum.
