Laila Jalil Fredes

Laila Jalil Fredes is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in accounting and financial management. Currently, Laila holds the position of Project Accountant at De Grey Mining Ltd since November 2020, following roles as Accounts Payable & Projects Coordinator and Accounts Payable Officer. Laila also contributes as the Director of Finance and previously as Associate Director of Finance (Volunteer) at the WA Project Management Institute, facilitating budget development and financial reporting. Prior experience includes significant positions such as Internal Auditor at Grupo Amanus, Finance Analyst and Document Control Supervisor at Tecpetrol, and General Accountant roles at HOT-HED S.A. and ETAP S.R.L. Laila began the accounting career as an Accountant and Tax Associate at Marlene Van Vliet. Laila holds a Master's degree in Project Management from Curtin University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco.
