Wayne Carter

Wayne Carter is an experienced exploration manager and geologist with a strong background in mineral exploration and resource development. Currently serving as the Exploration Manager for Hemi at De Grey Mining Ltd since June 2022, Wayne oversees a large team dedicated to enhancing a significant gold resource in the Pilbara. Previously, Wayne held the position of Senior Exploration Geologist at Gold Road Resources, managing exploration activities at the Yamarna Project and overseeing a substantial exploration budget. Earlier roles include Senior Exploration Geologist at Lefroy Exploration Ltd, Project Geologist at Silver Lake Resources, and Exploration Geologist positions at Image Resources NL and Venture Minerals Limited. Wayne holds a Master's degree in Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geology from the University of Plymouth.
