Dr. Manuela Gerlof

Dr. Manuela Gerlof has a long history in the publishing industry, holding various roles at De Gruyter since September 2006, including Vice President Publishing, Humanities and Social Sciences. Dr. Manuela has also served as Editorial Director, Acquisitions Editor, and Project Editor in Literary & Cultural Studies. Prior to De Gruyter, Dr. Manuela worked at Universität Hamburg as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin. Dr. Gerlof completed their Promotion in Neuere deutsche Literatur at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin in 2009, following their Magistra Artium in the same field from the same university in 1999. Dr. Manuela also pursued studies at The Ohio State University in 1995-1996.
