Senior Power Electronics Engineer at De-Ice

Juan S. has extensive experience in the field of power electronics engineering. Juan started their career at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory as a Summer Intern, where they were responsible for developing a pulse kicker and designing a gate drive circuit for a pulse generator. In 2011, they joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked until 2018. During their time at MIT, Juan worked on various research projects related to power electronics. In 2018, they joined Finally Light Bulb Company as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, where they worked until 2019. Currently, Juan holds the position of Senior Power Electronics Engineer at De-Ice, where they have been working since 2019.

Juan S. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, during the period from 2006 to 2011. Juan then pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Juan's educational journey continued at MIT, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from 2013 to 2018.
