Max Meltzer

Q-SHE (KAM) Manager at De Jong Verpakking B.V.

Max Meltzer has extensive work experience in various roles related to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (Q-SHE) management, business development, and consultancy. From 2019 onwards, they have been the Q-SHE (KAM) Manager at De Jong Verpakking, one of the largest cardboard packaging manufacturers in the Netherlands. Prior to this, they worked at Lloyd's Register, where they held positions such as Resource Coordinator, Business Development Manager, Lead Project Specialist SHE-Q, and Lead Assessor. Max also worked at MWH Global as Principal HSE Consultant/Industry Sector Leader Europe, Account Manager/Senior Consultant, and Business Manager Industry. Earlier in their career, Max was a Project Leader at Syncera and the Director/Consultant at Meltzer Consultants Ltd.

Max Meltzer began their education in 1994 at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering and Management Science. Max completed their degree in 2001.

In 2005, Max obtained a Full Membership certification from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, specializing in Environmental Studies.

In 2012, Max pursued further education at Reed Business, focusing on Industrial Safety and Health. Max completed this program in 2013, earning a Bachelor's Plus degree in "Hogere Veiligheidskunde."

Max continued their education in 2019 at ITO Opleidingen, obtaining a Certificate in Safety.

Most recently, Max attended Hobéon, where they pursued a Bachelor's Plus degree in Safety Management from 2017 to 2022. In February 2022, they also obtained the certification of Gecertificeerd kerndeskundige/Certified Safety Manager from Hobéon.
