Rafael Martin del Campo has over ten years of work experience. Rafael began their career in 2011 as a Cook 1/ Chef Assistant for Disney Cruise Line. In 2015, they worked as a QA Intern/ R&D Technologist for CUSTOM FOODS and also as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cal Poly Pomona. In 2016, they joined PepsiCo as an R&D Associate Scientist and SC QC Sr. Coordinator. In 2019, they worked as Director Of Technical Services for RedDecimal, LLC, and as Cofounder & Head of R&D for De La Calle. In 2021, they became the Director of Beverage Technologies for DrinkPAK.

Rafael Martin del Campo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Food Science and Technology, with a Minor in International Business from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona between 2011 and 2015. Prior to this, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Culinary Arts and Related Services from Orange Coast College from 2006 to 2009. Rafael also holds various certifications, including a FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI) Training Certificate from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) obtained in August 2018, an Introduction to HACCP: Concepts and Implementation from PepsiCo obtained in February 2017, a Principles of HACCP from the International HACCP Alliance obtained in June 2015, a ManageFirst certification from the National Restaurant Association, a Passenger Ship Training Certificate and Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities from Disney Cruise Line, and a Personal Survival Techniques and ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association.
