David Barcelona has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David started their career in 1994 as a Senior CAD Architect at HAIF Trading and Contracting Est. David then worked as a Design Engineer at Philnet Ericsson, Inc. before joining FILINVEST Alabang, Inc. as a Senior CAD Architect, where they handled land use and development drawings. In 1998, they joined the U.S. Embassy - Manila; Facilities Management Office as an Asst. Chief Engineer, a role they held until 2011. David briefly worked at Accenture, Inc. as a Space Management Lead in 2011. In 2012, they became a Proprietor at BMP Construction and started working as a Part-Time Faculty at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, specializing in Professional Practice and Building Technology subjects. David then transitioned to become a Full-Time Faculty member at the same institution. In 2018, they took on the role of Director - Campus Development Office at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
David Barcelona received a Master's degree in Architecture - Vertical Urbanism from the Mapua Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture at the University of Santo Tomas from 1981 to 1985. David attended Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati for their high school education from 1969 to 1979.
