Hadrien Gardeur

Hadrien Gardeur has a wide range of work experience in the digital publishing industry. Hadrien began their career in 2007 as the CEO and Co-Founder of Feedbooks, a digital publishing platform. In 2008, they joined the International Digital Publishing Forum as a member of the EPUB Working Group, contributing to the revision of EPUB 2 and the development of EPUB 3. Hadrien also became a member of the W3C's EPUB 3.x and Audiobook Working Groups in 2017.

In 2009, Gardeur became the Lead Editor for the OPDS Community, where they worked on various versions of the OPDS specification and served as the editor for major specifications.

In 2013, they joined the Readium Foundation as a Board Member and Lead Architect. Hadrien was responsible for the development of Readium-2, the new architecture behind Readium SDK. Additionally, they led the LCP (Licensed Content Protection) project.

Gardeur continued their involvement in the digital publishing industry as a Board Member for the European Digital Reading Lab starting in 2016.

Most recently, they joined De Marque in 2019 as the Director of Research Development. In February 2020, they were promoted to the role of Head of Product.
