Isabel Wagner

Isabel Wagner is an accomplished academic in the field of Cyber Security, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Basel since September 2022. Wagner has held various positions at De Montfort University since June 2015, including Honorary Senior Research Fellow and Associate Professor in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity, along with a previous role as a Senior Lecturer in the same field. Prior experience includes a Lectureship in Computer Science at the University of Hull from April 2013 to May 2015 and a postdoctoral research position at Osaka University, where research centered on wireless sensor networks. Earlier academic contributions were made as a Research Assistant at both Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Fraunhofer Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen. Isabel Wagner earned a Dr.-Ing. in Computer Science and a Dipl.-Inf. in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, complemented by additional education at FernUniversität in Hagen and Spessart-Gymnasium Alzenau.
