Rene van der Reijden

Rene van der Reijden is a versatile professional with extensive experience in system administration, entrepreneurship, and project management. Since April 2019, Rene has worked as a self-employed system administrator, service desk operator, and trainer. In June 2015, Rene became the owner of Cafe Koos, successfully revitalizing the business after purchasing a bankrupt café and transforming it into a profitable enterprise. Since March 2014, Rene has served as a system administrator for De Nieuwe Zaak, managing IT services for 80 employees using Windows and Gmail for business. Additionally, from January 2002, Rene has played a key role at Boekhandel Polare vh de Slegte, leading the integration of merged bookstores, overseeing the implementation of VOIP systems, and managing the rollout of 300 PCs, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier experience includes a software consultancy role at VConsyst, where Rene facilitated the transition of software for municipal sports facility reservations from DOS to Windows, coordinating development efforts with programmers in India.
