Gabriel Aktan

Gabriel Aktan is an experienced civil and structural engineer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Civil Works Manager at John Cockerill since January 2022, Gabriel previously held the position of Civil Works Department Manager at De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) since November 2006. Prior roles include Structural and Civil Engineer at SNC-Lavalin and Tractebel Gas Engineering, where responsibilities involved 3D modelling, dimensioning of structures, and technical specifications. Earlier experience includes positions as Structural Engineer at HAMON THERMAL EUROPE and Project Engineer at both SNC-Lavalin and Coppee Courtoy - Snc Lavalin Europe S.A.
