Rick Henderik

Rick Henderik is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer and Country Medical Director at Novartis since May 2015, where responsibilities include leading the Country Innovative Medicines Medical Affairs team and shaping the country medical strategy. Previously, Rick held roles with increasing responsibility in medical affairs, including Chief Scientific Officer and Manager of Medical Affairs Neuroscience. In addition to industry roles, Rick is a board member of De Zorgambassade and served as Chairman for the Young Innovators of Medicines. Past experiences also include leadership in organizing events for children with chronic health issues and working as a pharmacist. Rick earned a degree from Utrecht University, completing studies in 2012.
