Jeff Manter

Manager of Network Operations at Dead River Corporation

Jeff Manter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jeff started their career at the Northern Maine Development Commission as a Community Development Project Manager, where they were responsible for writing and administering Community Development Block Grants. Jeff then worked at the State of Maine as a Project Development Specialist, preparing and administering Community Development Block Grant contracts with local governments.

Following this, Jeff joined the City of Westbrook as the Information Technology Director, overseeing the administration, operations, and staff management of the IT department. Jeff also designed and maintained the city's technological infrastructure and handled the installation and configuration of computer equipment.

Jeff then transitioned to the Lane Construction Corporation, where they served as a Cost/Office Manager. In this role, they managed office administration, operations, and staff while analyzing costs and implementing changes. Jeff also handled the financial aspects of the plant's yearly budget.

Next, Jeff joined the Dead River Company as an IT Project Manager, where they supervised the Computer Support group and managed multiple internal IS projects. Jeff also provided support for computer hardware and software and developed database settings and reports.

In their most recent role at Dead River Company, Jeff served as the Manager of Network Operations, where they managed the daily operation of company-wide computer and network systems. Jeff developed procedures, standards, and policies relating to the computer and network systems and oversaw the installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated strong project management skills, budgeting expertise, and a focus on delivering high-quality computer services.

Jeff Manter attended Bentley College and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Computer Information Systems. Jeff then pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern Maine - School of Business. In addition to their educational background, Jeff Manter holds certifications including a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Southern Maine, a Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certification from Microsoft Corporation, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
