Kurt Lackovic

Kurt Lackovic is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. As the Chief Executive Officer of Cancer Trials Australia since January 2017, Kurt has led the organization through significant growth, expanding its staff and positioning it for future success. In addition to this role, Kurt serves as Company Secretary for the Australian Physiotherapy Council and holds multiple directorships, including Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee at DeadlyScience and Non-Executive Director positions at LINK Community Transport and Community Accessability. Previous experience includes founding Business Manager at Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance and roles in business development at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. Kurt's educational background includes an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a PhD in Chemistry from La Trobe University, complemented by training in leadership and cybersecurity.
