Amanda Coles

Amanda Coles currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Deakin University, while also holding the position of Deputy Editor for the Journal of Industrial Relations. With extensive experience in academia and policy consulting, Amanda's research focuses on the intersection of collective organization, cultural labor markets, and public policy, with specializations in cultural policy, labor legislation, and political economy. Prior roles include lecturing at the University of Melbourne and Brock University, as well as serving as Principal at Coles Policy Consulting, where Amanda worked with various organizations in the arts sector. Amanda holds a PhD in Comparative Public Policy from McMaster University and has a strong background in production management, including notable projects with the National Film Board of Canada.
