Jo Watson

Jo Watson serves as the Associate Head of School (International) at Deakin University's School of Health and Social Development, a position held since August 2015. Prior to this role, Jo Watson worked at Scope Victoria as an Associate Professor and Research Fellow/Speech Pathologist, focusing on research related to the inclusion of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities in decision-making from May 2001 to August 2015. Jo Watson's earlier experience includes positions as a Speech Pathologist at Temple University, a private practice in Hong Kong, Yooralla, and Launceston General Hospital, along with serving as a Senior Speech Pathologist for the Department of Human Services in Victoria, Australia. Jo Watson earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech-Language Pathology from La Trobe University.
