Lucy Taksa

Lucy Taksa is a Professor of Management at Deakin Business School and serves as the Deputy Director of the Deakin Centre for Refugee Employment, Advocacy, Training and Education (CREATE) since June 2023. Additionally, Lucy holds a position as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Unframed Thinking, Rennes Business School, and was a Non-Executive Board Member of Extent Heritage until November 2023. Previous roles include Director of the Centre for Workforce Futures at Macquarie Business School, Director at Settlement Services International, Associate Dean (Research) at Macquarie University, and Head of the Department of Marketing and Management at Macquarie University. Lucy Taksa was also a member of the Australian Research Council's College of Experts. Educationally, Lucy earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours First Class) and a PhD in Management History from UNSW.
