Rahiel Rasool

Rahiel Rasool is a skilled professional with experience in academia and research, currently serving as a casual sessional tutor and research assistant at Deakin University since August 2022. Previously, Rahiel worked as a project assistant at Module Innovations on the CARB-X funded 'Usense' project, focusing on a diagnostic platform for urinary tract infections. At the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from August 2020 to August 2021, Rahiel was a project associate on a SERB-sponsored project developing a biosensor for Covid-19 detection using saliva. Additionally, experience includes a research internship focused on designing a highly sensitive biosensor and internship training at Fortis Hospitals and Global Hospital, gaining exposure across various healthcare departments and instrumentation. Rahiel holds a Master of Technology in Nanoscience and Technology from Pondicherry University.
