Amir Shazad

Amir Shazad has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a Sales & Operation Analyst at Finsight Group Inc (FINSIGHT) starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Finance at Green Hour Foundation starting in August 2022. From September 2022 to March 2023, they were a Client Services Associate at AlphaSights. Before that, they held multiple roles at Convoy Global Holdings Limited, including Senior Wealth Management Advisor from June 2021 to September 2022, and Consultant from July 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Financial Analyst at Mattel Asia Pacific from July 2019 to January 2020, and as an Accounting Intern at Pacific Basin Shipping Limited in July and August 2017. Amir also has experience as a Market Researcher at Survey Sampling International from July 2015 to August 2016, and as a Team Leader at McDonald's from January 2012 to June 2014.

Amir Shazad completed their A Levels from YMCA HK Christian College from 2014 to 2016. Amir then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from The University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2020. In 2018, Amir participated in a university exchange program at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, where they focused on Finance.

In terms of additional certifications, Amir obtained the Type 1: Dealing in Securities certification from the Securities and Futures Commission in December 2020. Additionally, they completed the Unconscious Bias certification from LinkedIn in June 2021.
