Bernie Bernstein has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bernie started their career as a Software Engineer at AGM Electronics in 1983, where they worked closely with administrative and design engineers to produce new products for the Industrial Control market. At Octagon Systems, Bernie served as a Software Engineer, creating and documenting test procedures for third-party products from August 2004 to January 2005.
In 2005, Bernie joined Swift & Company as a Support Analyst, and later moved to Redzone Software as a Software Engineer. At Redzone Software, they created desktop mapping allocations to assist first-time responders in managing wildfires, police operations, and military operations. Additionally, Bernie developed a Pocket PC application for tracking military personnel through GPS technology.
From 2007 to 2022, Bernie owned and operated New Leaf Promotions, a company that provided personalized promotional products to effectively promote businesses. During this time, they evaluated audience and marketing objectives, developed effective themes and plans of action, and oversaw the success of promotional plans.
Bernie joined Markit on Demand in April 2010 as a Web Developer, where they developed and hosted custom websites for the financial services industry. Later, they joined Epsilon, initially serving as an Interactive Web Developer involved in developing websites to promote customer loyalty. Bernie's role at Epsilon evolved to a Software Engineer position, where they worked on AWS servers and supported applications for mid-market solutions.
Currently, Bernie works as a Software Engineer at Dealer360, a company that creates software solutions for automotive dealerships. Dealer360 aims to increase efficiency and drive profitability in dealerships by improving access to dealership data.
Bernie Bernstein attended Grand Valley State University from 1977 to 1981, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
