Alex Chen is a seasoned software engineer and co-founder at DealightAI since October 2024. Previously, Alex held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Amazon from August 2022 to May 2024, working on building large language models for Amazon Rufus. Prior experiences include senior roles at News Break, where Alex developed a high-volume notification system and a successful newsletter service, and LinkedIn, where Alex launched several innovative projects such as Interview Prep. Earlier in the career, Alex completed internships at Transmension Technology Inc., National Instruments, and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southeast University, focusing on machine learning research. Alex holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Southeast University.
