Ashish Jain

Ashish Jain has over 20 years of work experience in the tech industry. In 1999, they began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM Global Services India. In 2004, they co-founded NeoRover Inc and architected and implemented a web search engine. In 2005, they joined Yahoo! as a Senior Software Engineer/Search Relevance. In 2008, they moved to RSA The Security Division of EMC as a Principal Software Engineer. In 2011, they became the Lead Platform Engineer at Fanhood, which was later acquired by Fox Sports. In 2012, they co-founded SavvyShopr. In 2013, they joined Fox (Film, TV & Sports) as Director Architect Solutions and Relevance Platform Architect, where they architected and implemented classification, content relevance, personalization and push notification modules, and a high performant, horizontal, scalable, fault-tolerant PAAS architecture for rapid deployment of all relevance and personalization features. In 2016, they joined Apple as Siri Search Relevance Lead - Maps domain, where they led Search quality improvements and platform modernization of Siri Maps domain for US and international locales. In 2021, they joined Dealpath as Head of Search, ML, where they lead development and launch of Power Search.

Ashish Jain attended Frank Anthony Public School from 1987 to 1995, where they obtained their High School degree. Ashish then attended SJCE Mysore from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their BE in Electronics & Communication. Finally, they attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained their MS in Computer Science.
