Harvey Thompson

Harvey Thompson is the Tax Associate Director at Dean Dorton. Harvey has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining Dean Dorton, Harvey was the Director at Barr Anderson & Roberts, PSC from February 1998 to December 2015. Before that, they were the Controller at Tempur-Pedic, Inc. from July 1997 to January 1998 and the Assistant Controller at Minerich, Inc. from July 1996 to July 1997. Harvey began their career as a Staff Accountant - Manager at Potter & Company from December 1991 to June 1996 and then at Long John Silver's, Inc. from June 1986 to November 1991.

Harvey Thompson has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from Morehead State University as well as a certification from the KY State Board of Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. Harvey also has a certification from the Institute of Management Accountants as a Certified Management Accountant.
