Dean Word III

Dean Word III has over three decades of experience in the heavy and highway construction industry, currently serving as Manager at Dean Word Co. Ltd. since 1984, where responsibilities include overseeing multiple disciplines within a 130-year-old construction and materials company. Expertise spans heavy excavation, grading, materials production, and quality award-winning asphalt operations. Dean Word III has also contributed as a Board Member at CIRCA, Ltd. since 2007, focusing on captive insurance and risk management, and as a Joint Venture Partner in the Veramendi Master Planned Development since 2010. Leadership roles include Chair of the AIR Advisory Committee for the AACOG Air Quality Committee from 2013 to 2019 and President of the AGC of Texas in 2014. Additionally, Dean Word III served as Chair of the Highway & Transportation Division for AGC of America and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems Management from Texas A&M University.
