Dylan Lee is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Dear Asian Youth. Dylan was previously with Civic Leadership USA as their Events Operations Manager from May 2020 to November 2020. There, they were responsible for the production of promotional material for a series of five webinars with over 300 unique attendees. Dylan also trained team members on new technologies used during the pandemic, such as Zoom and Whova, and moderated webinars and panels with over 200 attendees for speakers such as Assembly Member Evan Low. From May 2019 to August 2019, Dylan interned with the City of Houston in their City Council. There, they addressed the concerns of constituents through Homeowners Association meetings, town halls, public hearings, and phone calls. Dylan also collaborated with the US Census Bureau and Make Youth Count to develop innovative solutions to the recurrent undercount in Houston. Dylan researched various programs in the Houston City Charter and Ordinances to provide services to constituents and established clear budgeting on a $10 million project for the $60 million Alief Community Center project. Prior to that, Dylan was a Mathematics and Reading Tutor at Kumon Math and Reading Center from August 2018 to December 2018.
Dylan Lee earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science-Statistics from Columbia University in the City of New York. Dylan then went on to earn an Associate of Science in Mathematics from San Jacinto College and a degree from the University of Houston.
Their manager is Chris Fong Chew, Director of Operations. They work with Ashley Shak - Co-Director of Strategic Partnerships, Roshni Chagan - Director of DITF, and Sahil Jaiswal - Co-director of Finance.
