Ilona Kotala

Ilona Kotala is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and oncology management. Currently serving as the Business Development of Technologies Manager at Debiopharm since September 2022, Ilona has previously held significant positions including Business Development Director at iCAN - Digital Precision Cancer Medicine and Global Therapy Area Manager for Oncology at Orion Pharma. Early in the career, positions included Product Manager roles at Roche Oy and Roche Pharma Schweiz, along with sales management at Medix Biochemica and managerial roles at Preseco Oy. Ilona holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Jyväskylä, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Horse Husbandry from the Equine College of Ypäjä.
