Zhiying Li

Zhiying Li is an Engineer II at DEC | Engineering Excellence since July 2018, bringing expertise in civil engineering from previous roles at IDCUS Inc. as a Civil Engineer from September 2017 to June 2018 and from May 2014 to December 2015. Responsibilities included drainage designs for various projects in TxDOT, Harris County, and the City of Houston, utilizing GeoPak Drainage and XPSWMM, as well as modeling for flood mitigation with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS. Zhiying Li also contributed to traffic control, sign and pavement marking, and SW3P plans for multiple projects. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, obtained between 2013 and 2015, along with experience as a research assistant at the same institution from 2001 to 2003.
