Rayna Shah

Rayna Shah serves as President of GirlUp, where a notable contribution includes presenting at the national conference in Los Angeles, addressing finance, law, and inequality, particularly focusing on biased credit algorithms. In addition, Rayna holds the position of District 7 President at DECA Inc. and has achieved the status of a 2023 DECA State Finalist. As a tutor for Inspire NextGen, Rayna provides online mentoring for refugee students in grades K-7. Previously, Rayna was a Research Fellow at the Columbia Journal of Science, Technology, Ethics, and Policy, contributing to research on algorithmic bias in AI. Additionally, Rayna was selected as a Kode with Klossy Scholar, participating in a program aimed at empowering young women and non-binary students in STEAM. Currently, Rayna is pursuing education at Allen High School, graduating in 2025.
