Alberto Bottan

Alberto Bottan has extensive work experience in various roles within Decathlon, a multinational sports retail company. Alberto started their career in 1995 as a Treasury Manager in Decathlon Italia. Alberto then worked as an International Financial Organization Manager in Decathlon International from 1997 to 1999. Alberto continued their career in Decathlon Italia as the Property Director and later as the CFO from 1999 to 2007. Alberto also served as a Board Member for Fouganza | Decathlon from 2009 to 2012. In 2007, they joined Decathlon France as the Real Estate Group CFO, and subsequently held positions such as CFO Zone Central Europe, Russia, and Franchising, CFO Zone Europe, and CFO Decathlon France. From 2018 to 2021, Alberto served as a Board Member for Decathlon Switzerland. In 2019, they took on the role of UK C.F.O. and Property/Sell to Others Director at Decathlon UK. Additionally, they held the position of Board Member in Decathlon Hungary/Magyarország, Decathlon Belgium, and Decathlon România from 2013 to 2022.

Alberto Bottan attended the Università degli Studi di Torino from 1987 to 1992, where they studied economy. Later, they pursued further studies in economy and business at the same university.
