Mike Edwards

Mike Edwards has extensive work experience in revenue cycle management. Mike currently holds the position of Executive Director Revenue Cycle at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations at Carle Foundation Hospital from 2019 to 2022. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Before that, Mike worked as a Principal Consultant at Clear Spring Revenue LLC, providing financial management services to healthcare organizations. Mike also held the role of Associate Vice President of Revenue Cycle at Eskenazi Health from 2005 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they were an Owner and Principal Consultant at Revenue Cycle Solutions, Inc and a Revenue Cycle Site Executive at Siemens Healthcare. Mike's work experience includes responsibilities such as patient access, financial counseling, billing, AR follow-up, and staff management. Mike has successfully implemented various improvement initiatives and achieved notable accomplishments throughout their career.

Mike Edwards obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Saint Joseph's College. Mike also completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at Indiana Wesleyan University.
