Richard Mercado

Richard Mercado currently serves as a Sr. Production Supervisor at Dechra since April 2024. Previously, Richard held the position of Production Supervisor at BioDuro-Sundia from January 2022 to April 2024, where management of both 1st and 2nd shift commercial operations was a key responsibility, overseeing 15 manufacturing technicians and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety codes. From October 2010 to January 2022, Richard worked at Par Pharmaceutical, providing oversight for cGMP/GDP manufacturing activities focused on Sustain-Release solid dosage pharmaceutical products. Richard's earlier experience includes roles as Group Lead, Senior Operator, and Operator II at Par Pharmaceutical, as well as Operator I at Watson Pharmaceuticals from 2008 to June 2010. Education was completed at Perris High School from 2004 to 2008.
