Carlos A Gomez Gonzalez

Carlos A Gomez Gonzalez is currently serving as a Data Science Manager at decide4AI. Prior to this role, Carlos worked as a Visiting Researcher at NVIDIA, focusing on super-resolution models for gridded Earth Science data. Carlos has a strong background in AI for Earth Sciences, having held positions such as a Post-doctoral researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and a Research chair in Data Science for Earth and Space Sciences at Université Grenoble Alpes. Carlos holds a Doctor of Science (PhD) in Astrophysics from the University of Liège and has experience as a Data Science consultant at Pivigo. Additionally, Carlos has a background in Geographic Information Systems and has experience teaching introductory physics.
