Alex Kovshovik

Alex Kovshovik has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Alex started their career as a Programmer at Mebius in 2003 and later moved on to work as a Programmer at Ceridian from 2005 until 2008. Alex then joined BelTech Software as a Programmer and worked there from 2006 to 2014. In 2008, they joined PlanSource as the Software Development - Director and held this position until 2015. In 2010, Alex worked as a Programmer at Veracity Insurance Solutions, LLC. In 2015, they joined Instructure as the Software Development Team Lead for a short period of time. Alex is currently working at Decisely, where they started as a Sr Software Engineer in 2015 and has since been promoted to the role of Vice President - Software Engineering.

Alex Kovshovik holds a Master's degree in Physics, which they obtained from Belorussian State University from 1999 to 2004. Alex also has a certification in "Improving Your Listening Skills" from LinkedIn, obtained in April 2021. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from different institutions, including Lynda.com and Code School, in various subjects such as Jira software, new manager fundamentals, AngularJS, APIs with Rails, data-driven app development with AngularJS, and Agile team building. These certifications were obtained between the years 2014 and 2018.
