Tom Schmidt

As CFO, Tom is responsible for all accounting and financial matters, including managing the financial risks and financial planning for the corporation. He is responsible for developing and managing the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure achievement of organizational strategies and priorities.

Tom has over 24 years experience in financial management as well as default servicing. Tom began his career at Bank of America where he held progressively senior management positions. While at Bank of America, Tom was the recipient of many awards for recognition of his innovative ideas and forward thinking in default servicing and loss mitigation. Under his leadership, Fannie Mae recognized his team as a top tier Loss Mitigation servicer for 4 consecutive years. After leaving Bank of America he joined GE Capital Mortgage Insurance in 1997, as a Vice President of Risk Management and Default. Most recently, Tom has served as CFO of RealServ, a company providing business process outsourcing and services to the Real Estate finance industry.
