Irfan Shaikh

Irfan Shaikh has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Irfan is currently working as the Senior Director & Country Manager, India at Decisions, where they are responsible for building the India Global Operations Center and promoting the use of their business process automation software. Before that, they founded aerodroneX UAS, a company focused on Unmanned Aerial Systems. Prior to that, they worked at BRIOTA Technologies, where they were involved in the development of the go-to-market strategy and digital delivery of wellness services. Irfan also has experience as the Managing Partner at Infinity Proserv and as the Head of Business Excellence at MarketsandMarkets™. Additionally, they served as the Global Director - GBS at Bridge International Academies, where they built a Global Business Services Center. Furthermore, they worked as the Finance Director - GIC & India at Electronic Arts (EA), leading the finance and accounting global service center. Irfan also had roles at WNS Global Services, where they held leadership positions in their Finance & Accounting division, including establishing offshore finance operations and leading India operations for telecom service providers. Overall, Irfan Shaikh has a diverse background in finance, operations, and entrepreneurship.

Irfan Shaikh has a diverse education history. In 1993, they graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Irfan furthered their education in 2013 by attending the Indian School of Business, where they obtained an Executive MBA with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. In addition to their degrees, Irfan Shaikh has also acquired several certifications. These include a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Exemplar Global, Inc. in December 2019, an AI For Everyone certification from Coursera in April 2019, and a Digital Transformation certification from Coursera in March 2019. Additionally, Irfan Shaikh holds various other certificates related to competitive marketing strategy, ethics and business communication, pricing products and services for profitability, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, global strategy and organization, as well as leadership and sustainable development. Most recently, they obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in June 2021 and as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) in June 2019. Irfan also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in September 2005.
