We are looking to hire a Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work as part of a team that helps lead initiatives and projects toward deployment and success.
This role is based in our Markham, Ontario offices on sunny, green Allstate Parkway. We are conveniently located near Highway 404, with a direct connection to the Don Valley Parkway (DVP). The communities of Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Scarborough, and north Toronto are located very close to our offices. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a Full-Time schedule in our Markham office.

Who We Need:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the architecture, provisioning, design, and implementation of Azure and Oracle hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions utilizing commercial infrastructure, platform, and software as a service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) offering.
What You'll Do:
Set up hybrid connectivity for on-site and cloud environments
Manage cloud environments in compliance with the organization’s security policies
Develop solutions integrating clouds with services hosted on-premises or other cloud environments
Define and record the best methods and tactics for deploying applications and maintaining infrastructure
Consult, design, and document MDM environments
Assist in designing and putting place data protection features, define and implement cloud-based solution architectures
Assist in implementing, configuring, and supporting Office 365 and M365 security solutions

Education and/or Experience
Five years related professional experience; or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience.
Technical and/or Domain Knowledge
To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of and experience with the following:
Migration and modernization of workloads from on-premises data centers to Azure
Experience with the Azure CLI, PowerShell/Azure PowerShell, and the Azure Portal
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Strong Skills with Azure, AWS, OCI, VMware, MS Servers, and networking required
Knowledge of Office 365, monitoring systems, and databases
