Jarrod Moore

Jarrod M. has been working in the IT industry since 2007. Jarrod began their career as a Java Web Developer at Wirasoft Pty Ltd. In 2008, they moved on to Ardec International Pty Ltd. as a Systems Administrator, where they provided technical and desktop support to 50 employees using Windows and Linux systems. Jarrod also maintained Nagios and Cacti monitoring setup, wrote scripts to extend Nagios' functionality, developed systems in Python, deployed and maintained production websites and infrastructure, administered Confluence wiki and JIRA bug tracker, carried out security patching for 200+ servers, upgraded Cisco Call Manager server software, managed users and provided technical support for Active Directory and Exchange 2007 servers. In 2010, Jarrod M. moved to News Corp Australia as a UNIX Systems Administrator. In 2011, they joined Flex Point Systems as a Systems Engineer. In 2013, they were hired by NTT Communications ICT Solutions as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, they built out infrastructure from scratch, configured systems, wrote Puppet classes, and delivered presentations and training sessions. In 2019, they joined TripAdvisor as a Senior Systems Engineer. Jarrod is currently employed at Deckard Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer.

Jarrod M. attended the University of Sydney from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Science degree in Computer Science. Jarrod then attended TAFE from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Certificate III in Japanese.
