Matthias Leurs

Matthias Leurs has extensive experience in sales and management roles within the outdoor and sports industries. Currently serving as the Head of Sales Area Central HOKA at Deckers Brands since April 2025, Matthias previously held the position of Country Manager at Haglöfs AB from January 2021 to April 2025. At Bergans Fritid AS, Matthias was the Sales Director responsible for AGS & BNL from June 2017 to January 2021, where significant contributions included the development of corporate strategies and the transformation of brand operations. Prior to that, Matthias was the Sales Director AGS at The North Face and managed various sales roles, building a comprehensive skill set in strategic account management, national sales strategies, and market analysis. Earlier career experience includes positions at BROOKS Sports GmbH and cip gmbH for the adidas group, as well as academic contributions at Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln, where Matthias earned a Diplom in Sportwissenschaften.
