Katerina Ioakeimidi

Katerina Ioakeimidi serves as an Investment Committee Member at GoingVC since February 2022, focusing on scouting and due diligence for tech startups. In addition, Katerina is a Fellow at DECODE and has held the role of Technical Project Manager for Next Generation Product Development at KLA-Tencor since October 2011. Katerina's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's degree in Stem Cells and Translational Neurology from the University of Edinburgh, and an EMBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. Previous research positions included work as a Research Scientist at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, with a focus on nonlinear and quantum optics as well as photonic and electron sources. Katerina also holds a certificate in Quantum Computing and Programming from Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
